Smoke and Mirrors!

Lily is with Cane at the lock up. She rants at him that he must promise not to try to escape. Cane says she can't go through this alone. Jill and Katherine come in and see Lily crying - they reassure her that Cane won't be gone for long. Cane hugs Jill and Kay, and they promise Lily will be in good hands. He is then taken out.

Back at the Club, Katherine reassures Jill about Cane, saying it's only a temporary situation. Jill says she calls Cane her son without even thinking about it. Kay says she can relate. Jill wonders how it could even be the same with Tucker. Kay says she meant her - she thinks of her as her daughter!

For Mrs. Newman's Eyes Only!

Nikki is at the Club, leaving Victor a message saying she's on her way up to the cabin, when she sees the copy of Restless Style with Tucker on it. Jill walks by, and Nikki asks if she's behind this. Jill smiles. Nikki confronts Jill about not honoring Katherine's wishes - she's made this all about herself and has interfered with Kay getting to know her son!

Jill arrives at the Chancellor Estate, and Tucker is there to confront her. She confirms that she's loving this. Tucker notes that any good journalist would have asked him to comment. Jill says the information speaks for itself. Tucker asks if Katherine was her source. She says Kay didn't give him up - she and Billy are incredible investigators! He leaves, and Katherine comes home. She bellows that Jill agreed not to run that story! Katherine informs her that Tucker had just signed papers giving her back controlling interest in the company when that rag showed up! Jill says this isn't about her playing mommy to Tucker, it's about her getting her company back - if she admits the truth, so will she! Jill levels with Kay, saying they should face it - they're both a couple of selfish witches! Kay says, "Well put."

Disgusting Cookies!

At the lockup, Katherine and Jill are with Cane. Katherine says she has to go, and gives Cane a kiss, telling him to take care. Cane sits back down with Jill, who tells him that she and Kay will take care of Lily for him. He tells her that Lily's scan results aren't good - he'll escape! Jill is upset by the idea and tries to make him promise not to do anything rash. They say they love each other and she leaves, just as Chloe and Amber are coming in to see him. He is amused when the girls offer to be character witnesses or even lie on his behalf if it would help him stay in the country! He says the reality is that the sooner he goes, the sooner he can come back into the country. They both hug him and say goodbye. Outside the room, they agree that was sad, and wonder if there is any way to help him.

Jill comes into the Club just as Lily leaves Neil's table. Jill joins Neil and tells him that Cane is out of his mind with worry about Lily - he'll try to escape if her scan results aren't good! Neil is appalled, and Jill frets that if he pulls that, he won't be able to come back to the States at all! Lily comes back to the table briefly and says she is going to see Cane. Neil tells her to call if she hears from the doctor. At the doors, Lily feels emotional. Daniel notices and offers her a ride.

Still at Mac's bar, Katherine and Tucker sign the papers, and just then, a teenager comes up with the new issue of Restless Style with Tucker's face on the cover. Tucker snatches it and asks, "What is this?" Across the room, Jill, who came in unseen, raises her glass to him. Katherine looks at Tucker's face and says, "You can't think I had anything to do with this?!"

He Reaps What He Sows!

Jill and Billy confer about Tucker, and their findings about the painting, at Restless Style. Billy tells his mother he will start writing the cover story for Restless Style. Jill agrees, saying if Kay can't bring down Tucker, they'll do it for her! Jill grabs her coat, saying she doesn't want Katherine to be blindsided by this - she is concerned about her being hurt. Billy asks what about Jill getting hurt?

Jill arrives at the Chancellor Estate and tells Katherine she knows about Tucker's bribes and that they're exposing him in Restless Style. Katherine hollers that Tucker will lose everything! She tells Jill that she and Tucker had a good conversation yesterday. Jill tells her she's blind - he only came to her after she had something on him. Kay thinks Jill is just worried she cares more about Tucker than her. Jill admits she'd finally gotten to the point where she thought blood didn't matter between them. Kay says if she really feels like her daughter - then she won't take away her son. Jill calls Billy to tell him to kill the story on Tucker. He's not happy about it. Katherine tells Jill this means a lot to her. Jill says she's going to check in on Billy. Katherine tells Jill she will always be her daughter. Tucker reemerges from the den. He tells Kay he heard them, and that she obviously cares for Jill. Katherine nods, then asks him for a hug. They slowly move into an embrace. Jill looks back in through the window and seems pained. She calls Billy and tells him she's come to her senses - run the story!

Isn't This Sweet!

Billy bickers with Jill on the phone over who should speak to Cane at the immigration lock up. Billy says he is the perfect person to do it, and goes in to see him. Cane and Billy come face to face. Billy tells Cane he wants what he has on Tucker, but Cane won't cooperate. Billy feels that Katherine is being overly-sentimental, but Cane insists it's her call. Billy points out that Katherine can't do it - he's her son - it's up to them to stop him. Billy plays the family card, which causes Cane to bang angrily on the desk - how many times has he told him to stay away from the family?! Cane insists he'd never betray Kay's trust to someone like him! Billy turns it around, saying Cane just doesn't care anymore - after all, he's headed back to Australia. Cane reiterates that he won't tell him - but - he will tell him what research Katherine was doing when she found it. He tells Billy about the famous painting in the background of a photo.
