The Young and the Restless - MESSAGE BOARDS

Hi fellow Laners. Daniel and Christel have really rocked their scenes this week. They are magnetic. You just cannot get enough. I saw todays clips on youtube last night, and when Cane had his breakdown I was blown away. I had a hard time sleeping, thinking about him and all he has endured taking care of the love of his life. I felt so sorry for him. It was like his cup runneth over. I love this beautiful couple, and want the best for them. I cannot wait to see what Friday's epi will bring. After each show, my Mom and I get on the phone and discuss what happened. She is a Lane fan also. As a matter of fact most of my friends are Lane fans. We will certainly have a lot to talk about since Cane and Lily had a lot of air time this week.

Ladies! Ladies what can I say but I love all your posts and I agree completely 1000%.

I love the way Lane is right now. The flirting, sexiness, want, need, passion, tenderness and touching is back! I am truly enjoying Lane's goodness. I love how forthcoming Lily has been, letting Cane know what she wants and also not afraid to show him and others how much she loves and needs her husband. I just can't get enough Lane because its the little things they do that make them stand out like a real life married couple, the cooking, the shopping are all such couply things and the loving is exceptional, as it should be. Lane is just completely different than other couples. Their interaction is on a different level and its not forced. Can you tell how much this couple impress me and that I love them? Their love this time around is a lot stronger because of everything they have been through and its more binding.

Cane's breakdown on today's US epi was touching and believable (I couldn't help crying). I grew up believing that men don't show emotions so for Cane to let it go like that, in a public place no less, he must be in some awful pain. After months of being strong and holding it together for Lily, he just couldn't handle it anymore. The fact that he had just reconnected with Lily after what he did and then the reality that he could actually lose her for good was too much. I'm glad he released because ever since Lily moved back home he was her sole caregiver with no one to talk to, so I'm happy he was able to let out all the hurt and fear. I could see from the hospital scenes though that he was having a hard time trying to hold on because when he left Lily's side to talk to the Dr with Neil, Cane looked like he was barely holding it together and when Lily mentioned that she could die if she gets a fever, I think was the breaking point. Cane's breakdown proved just how true his words were to Lily when he told her that if she is not in this world, he doesn't want to live in it. Incredible acting by DG. Emmy, Emmy, Emmy worthy performance. Thanks DG for some incredible acting!

PS I am absolutely thrilled that Lily is sporting her rings again. They look good on her finger and I'm three thrilled that we have seen them all week! What a treat!

The Cane and Lily scenes have been so wonderful this week I have loved watching Lane gain back everything that they lost due to past obstacles/problems. Their relationship is bigger, badder and stronger than ever This is so great to see. I find myself craving more, more of this couple. As the song says everything is beautiful with my favorite couple Lane Truly can't wait to see what good things lay ahead!!!!!!!!!!

Great News Cane and Lily are #2 on SID. It has been a long time they have been this close to #1. They were #1 last week on SOD. Hopefully the same this week. Thanks everyone for voting daily and lets keep it up until they are #1 on both polls.

Good afternoon, Lily and Cane! Just dropped in to say hello and that I did get a chance to watch your scenes in today's episode. Glad to see Cane connecting to Neil; the hug was priceless. It says that this family is going to heal and be OK! I knew that Lils would pull thru this latest crisis. Cane was right there by her side and always available to be near her when he was not by her side. Luv this couple, but I want a lot more happiness without the intervention of some kind of sadness to change the mood of their togetherness.

By the way, I wish that the writers had made at least a little production of Lily getting her rings back and putting them on ESPECIALLY since they made such a BIG DEAL out of her taking them off and returning them to Cane. Just MY OWN PRIVATE WISH!!

Lanealways, MsSuds, Charme, Anny, PV I agree with all your posts. Lane is too cute and adorable. I love a happy Lane. They light up my screen. I love them and will support them always.

I loved that Lily told Cane today that she knew having a baby is the right thing to do now as she knew when she first saw him that they were meant to be. Awesome. I love how Lily has been written lately, like a mature, married woman. Gr8! Even their conversations borders on deep detail. I am just thrilled that they are talking about moving ahead and planning their lives. It is sooooooo real, and this is what I love about them.

On another note, I thought it strange and a little rude that when Jill and Cane hugged Neil, he didn't respond. I wonder why?

All in all a very lane treaty week. I sure hope we get more next week.

G4, I notice that about Neal too. He almost acted as if he didn't want Jill to hug him. I just chalk it up to the fact he wasn't assured she would pull through. Neal puts his worry on overdrive when it comes to Lily.
