Hey there, Annyhall, Charme, Lanefan, Kaiden, Ashbyfan, grannyfam, and bail! I love your discussion about poignant moments between Lily and Cane.

One of my most memorable, fondest, and funniest momentts goes back to the times when they were friends, liked each other but were not dating. Cane had a date with Heather to attend some green charity ball and Lily shows up with the professor as her escort b/c Colleen could not go. Cane spent the whole evening laughing, talking and interacting with Lily. He even offered Lily a ride home which daddy Neil declined b/c "he could take his own daughter home." His eyes followed Lily out of the ballroom as she left with dad. Heather finally saw the light and knew that Cane was not in to her at all--it was Lily. She dumped my man, Cane; they did vow to be friends. He never looked so happy to be dumped by a woman. That, I think was the start of something new!!

Another great question Charme! The most poignant Lane moment has to be the time after Cane told Lily they couldn't be a couple. The scene starts with Cane working out at the GCAC gym, Lily walks in an instantly spots Cane. Lily goes to do some arm exercise then she pauses for a sec, Cane almost jumps out of his skin to try to help spot Lily. She tells him, 'if I need a spot I'll ask someone my own age.' Ouch! Cane slumps away, hurt and rejected. I love this scene because it shows everything that makes this duo click. I was so proud of Lily, she let Cane hear his own words from the day before and Cane showed that he had no will power in his fight to stay away from Lily. That's true Lane goodness.

MsSuperSuds loved the gala epi too. I really liked when Adrian gave Lily that little nudge to sit next to Cane (I'll always have a soft spot for Adrian for that one lol) I was also glad that Heather opened her

lanefan when Lily told Cane she would ask somebody her own age if she needed help, I burst out laughing. I said to myself "you go girl". Cane walked off like a whipped puppy (aww)

Charme: I also like the part at the Gala when the professor and Heather was talking about the author and her book and Heather said she has her book at home on her coffee table, and people started leaving the table and Cane whisper to Lily, Can we go with them. Now that was funny

Good morning, Lily and Cane! Just wanted to check on you this fine fall morning post Halloween. I see that you are still rocking the "bald is beautiful" look, and you look great wearing it. Cane is still the same handsome devil as always. I have missed you this past week and I look forward to seeing you move into the next chapter of your on-screen life. Luv ya! Will check you later.

I love all the scenes you guys have mentioned...but I think the thing for me is that they have always been able to talk to each other about anything, even before they were a couple...I remember one scene right after that "out of the ashes" storyline, Lily went to CL, cane was there feeling sorry for himself because he was blaming himself...he and Lily had a talk about it..afterwards, Lily went to the hospital to see Colleen, they discussed Lily's talk with Cane and Lily said, the convo got heavy, but it was easy...right then I knew those two were meant for each other...that was the time, Cane told her, he watched her study for an hour...love my Lane...

btw..Lily was wearing that beige turtle neck knit sweater dress and boots...when she hugged him goodbye, I swear that man was drinking her smell into his senses...

Before leaving for work,had to come in and show love for my MIA fav couple.

Been a very long time since I have been here. Just want to show some love to by couple. Cant wait for next week going to be alot of Lane and i am soooooooo excited.
