What was the point of Cane/ Phillip S/L? Now Phillip's leaving? They barely showed him! I blame the writers. Now Cane can't be trusted all so Phillip could be in 3 episodes? Not to mention the cattle wranglers? They don't brand their livestock in Australia? This is so dumb. Sigh....I don't know why I even bother watching this show.

I totally agree. I guess they thought his revival would boost their ratings but to be honest there was more talk about his return on this board weeks, possibly months before his actual arrival. A waste of time but a least he got paid a few bucks sure hope it was worth it for him at least because it damn sure wasn't worth it for the viewers. All this rewriting history was for the birds.

It didn't It was just confusing to me because it seemed like a last minute thing that threw other story lines off. Like the thing with Delia, and the thing with Violet. It was like the whole scenario of how they found Cane never happened and was never fully explained. I thought Phillip was going to shake things up too . Very Disappointed.

Not only did this storyline fall flat partly because of the writing and partly because of PC3. Which JC said should not have come back from the dead in an interview. But they messed up Cane's character. This man was really a good man and would have never done to Lily what they rewrote him to have done to her. To this day it is still hard for some of the fans to think on this rewrite which only butchered the Cane character. PC3 got off without a glitch everyone instantly forgiving him. Even Billy never says anything about PC3's part in the lie Cane told to his family. Honestly this was the worst rewrite in soap history. LML couldn't have done worse. All the complaining that went on about LML and her writing was for nothing. These writers have not done any better. Frankly I think they have done worse. No character building just butchering of characters. And Plot Point,Plot Point, Plot Point!

they did messed up the story line, it would have could have brought on storylines for other character i think, they did bite of more they can chew i think. but really what did they all do all summer spring. now we see more of everyone and the character storyline are popping up everywhere, it all due to poor time management on the show part i think , mmmm sort of like amateurs that dont know how to pace shows like soaps mm now i think of it , but i do wonder how it coming back on track now , did someone get whipped ?i the show now it got so many things cooking , i like it so far

MAB thought bringing back TB was genius but she was wrong. The dynamic that was established before was perfect. Billy and Cane were competing for Jill's affection and there were business implications as well. The babygate was settled because Cane and Billy were brothers and that is why Cane was not excluded. Then all of the sudden Cane is a fraud that switches blood and hurts his true love for a lie? The rewrite was awful because we were asked to believe the opposite of what was seen on our screen. Those that disliked the character of Cane were eager to go for the rewrite but for all others it was just senseless. All of the change of history for lackluster yawn worthy P3. A much better story could have been told had tptb just left well enough alone.

Oh my gosh - the cattle ranchers story. You are right - that is hysterical. What was the point to that? It was so dumb. And what - does Cane even work now that Lily is sick. I guess they live on love. lol

What was dumb was Phillip III comment "damn cattle rustlers". Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy.
