I think that now that Jared is dead Charlie is going to blame himself and fall off the wagon. I am actually excited to see what happens with Mitch. But doesn't the hospital scene today remind you of the hospital scene with Jessica and Nash... I liked Jared and am sad that he is gone.

I knew Jared's death was coming but I didn't realize just how sad I was going to be. I will miss that character. I like the idea of Charlie falling off the wagon, especially if Viki wins the election. Though I do really dislike Dorian and I hope Mitch goes after her. Jessica and Rex will have to deal with being siblings and hopefully will take on Mitch with Natalie. And poor Natalie will be forced to marry Mitch again. You just know he's going to make that happen.

It's not like I'm a fan of falling off the wagon, but it would make for an interesting story line. Also, when has Mitch ever paid for his crimes? They aren't going to bring him back from the dead, only to send him off to prison.

I hated to see Jared bleeding to death. No wife should have to endure such a thing. I loved the fact that he was forced to work for Mitch (unknowingly). I knew Jared was indeed a good guy at heart. Everybody I know would try to protect their parents from harm. And Mitch left Jared little choice but to follow his insane orders IMO.

I hope Charlie stays sober just to honor Jared's wishes. Jared was so proud to have his dad Charlie back in his life (sober). Viki should understand Charlie's state of mind when he killed Jared's stepfather while "drunk". I mean she did several evil deeds while experiencing "DID". The statue of limitations should be invalid since Mitch mentioned that John can't bring back his charges of long ago. Who knows anything is possible.

I'm hoping Jared's body is stolen by one of Mitch's cult members (leaving room for Jared to return later). I miss Jared already!

BUT....this time he shot Jared and as we know (much to my and others dismay)Jared will die. John McBain and others were right there and saw him shoot him, no way, not even in soapland will he not be put in jail..unless he escapes. MAYBE they will do an Anthony Zacchara (GH) and have him manipulate his followers from jail/prison. I really hope that the writers do not break up Vicki and Charlie. I get tired of seeing Vicki have everyone die on her.

I hated to see Jared go but now that he's gone I think Charlie and Viki may get some more air time together. When Jared told Charlie about seeing him hit his stepfather and leaving then his mother saying that it was all an accident I started to think that since Jared was only a boy at the time maybe his stepfather wasn't dead after he fell & that maybe his mother actually killed him because of all of the abuse that had been going on. Since Jared was only a child he may have thought that his dad really did kill him since he did end up being dead. I think that it will come out that Mitch knows the real truth but will keep it to himself so that he can continue his reign of evil. I hope that John figures it out & helps Charlie so that we don't lose him. I like having at least one semi-happy couple on the show.

I think now that Jared is gone, Natalie and John will get back together...John and Marty are so boring together i would rather watch paint dry then them together.

Yeah, Natalie is about to lose it. I really hate to see her suffer. Many people are not fans of Natalie, but I've always liked her, and she has seen a lot of suffering during her time in Llanview and before. Although the similarities between Nash dying and Jared dying are pretty balanced. What happened to him is almost fair. I don't think they'll rush into Nat and John getting back together, but I'll bet we see a darker, angrier Natalie in the near future.

I have to admit that Jared's scenes were well acted. I am more curious to see who will get his spot on the opening credits. Will it be Fish?
