i am kinda a new watcher and i have see this guy in promo's but i do not know who he or what his history is. Any help??????????

Mitch was Tina's boyfriend who was out to get Victor Lord's money way after Victor died (supposedly - remember that he came back a few years ago). Mitch killed Harry O'Neal, one of Niki Smith's boyfriends. He went to prison, and like Todd, saved some innocent lives and was pardoned by the governor. Mitch later found God and created a cult in which Allison Perkins became one of his most devoted disciples. He tried to rape Cassie Callison, Dorian's daughter. It later turned out that Dorian killed him (supposedly) for which she was sent to prison for a time. Now, we learned that he raped Viki and had Allison kidnap Viki's daughters. Viki only knew of one daughter, so when she and her husband, Clint, got the daughter back, they had no idea that there was yet another daughter, Natalie. Natalie was raised by Roxy with her younger brother Rex before he was taken away from Roxy by Aunt Corine. I believe that Corine was Dr. Balsom's sister. We later learned that Dr. Balsam, long since dead, was also a disciple of the Messenger, Mitch Laurence.

When Mitch returned a few years back, after many of the crimes he committed could no longer be prosecuted via statute of limitations. He married Natalie pretending to be Michael Lazerous. It was revealed that when Viki had her twin daughters, one of whom, Jessica, was fathered by Mitch and not Clint. It is rare, but I am told that it can happen. Mitch made a deal with Victor Lord to kidnap his granddaughter, Jessica, and supply her to Victor in order for Victor to take her heart to replace his own which was failing. Mitch doublecrossed Victor, kidnapped Natalie, dyed her hair blond so that Victor would not realize that Natalie was not Jessica. Supposedly, Jessica was his only match. Of course, Mitch did not want to lose his own flesh and blood.

Mitch had a very shrewd attorney who got him out of most of the crimes he committed at that time. Her name was Evangeline Williamson. That was before Evangeline became a very nice person, rather than just a cut-throat lawyer.

When Victor died, his new will gave everything over to Mitch. Dorian returned from out of town and married Mitch to get her hands on a diamond. I think that she's technically still married to Mitch. Mitch was knocked on his head by a blunt object. Either Todd or Jessica did it, but Todd soon left the show in fear for his life and returned with a new face. Bo, the police commissioner, looked the other way since Mitch was such an evil creep. Tina's daughter found Mitch's body. In his will, everything was left to Jessica. Jessica then gave her mother back the Banner, Llanfair and other assets.

That's Mitch in a nutshell. He does have two brothers. One is Walker Laurence, supposedly dead. The other is Miles Laurence who has not been seen on canvas for a few years now. Miles was somewhat of a bad guy too.

Mitch has more lives then felix the cat, I guess Billy Joel was right, "only the good die young"
