Johnny wants answers, Sonny tries to get through to Michael, Luke worries about his family, Carly is furious with Jax, and the mystery man lurks.

Jax thinks Carly needs to tell the police about Michael, but she adamantly tells him no one can know what happened. Jax thinks Michael will get off with a suspended sentence and counseling, but Carly can’t take that chance. Jax worries about the psychological impact on Michael, thinking the only way he can get help is if they tell the truth. She tells him Sonny and Jason are covering it up so the cops will never find any evidence against her son. Jax is furious and thinks if she goes along with this Michael will turn out to be just like Sonny.

Johnny continues to grill Sam about Claudia, but doesn’t buy her claims that she doesn't know what happened to her.

In the rain, Jason, Max and Milo bury Claudia and then drive away, as someone emerges from the woods.

From her car, Maxie sees blood on Sonny’s shirt when he opens the gate to his place.

Lulu wakes up in the hospital and calls Dante officer again. He reminds her if Sonny finds out he’s a cop he’s a dead man. Luke walks in the room and learns Dominic saved her life. Dominic says he has to leave and Luke makes comments about how he probably has to go do nefarious things for Sonny, as Dante and Lulu exchange looks.

Sonny burns his shirt while instructing Michael how to get rid of his own evidence. Michael runs upstairs and Jason calls Sonny to tell him ‘it’s done’.

Upstairs, Michael takes off his clothes and looks at the blood on his hand.

Johnny goes to Spinelli for the location of the cabin Claudia and Carly were at. Spinelli tells him he doesn’t know, but Johnny persists. Spinelli thinks if he pursues this it will endanger him. Johnny needs to know what happened to his sister and leaves.

Dominic comes to see Sonny and tells him what happened at the Zacchara house and asks if they need any help with Claudia. He sees the burning clothes in the fire when Jason comes in. Jason says everything has been taken care of and the cabin has been burned down. Dominic says because of the rain they might want to make sure there is nothing left of it. Sonny wants Dominic to check it out and gives him the location of Claudia’s car. Dominic leaves to make sure the cabin is in ashes and Sonny tells Jason Michael is doing better than expected. Sonny vows to get his son through this.

Elizabeth and Nikolas run into each other at the hospital and she doesn’t think they should go see Lulu together. Nikolas says nothing should look different between them and they head to her room.

Luke tells Lulu Claudia will more than likely never be seen again and thinks Dominic is out there right now tying up loose ends. Nikolas and Elizabeth enter the room and Lulu recounts what happened. Tracy and Ethan join them and her brothers express their disdain for Dominic, but Lulu sticks up for him. Elizabeth goes to get coffee and Luke watches as Nikolas follows to help her. Tracy asks her husband what is so fascinating about them.

Detective Williams comes to take Carly’s statement. She goes into the details and as Johnny walks up to the door, she divulges the location of where she and Claudia crashed and he takes off.

At Jason’s, Sam and Spinelli talk about Johnny and worry about him trying to avenge his sister’s death.

Maxie runs into Johnny at the hospital and asks about Lulu. He fills her in and she tells him Sonny had blood all over his shirt.

After the cop leaves, Jax tells Carly she made a terrible mistake, but she retorts that she protected her son just like he protected his brother. Jax tells her about the DVDs and Carly is aghast he’s known about it for so long and has been lying to her. Jax tries to defend his actions, but Carly doesn’t understand. Jason comes in and Carly orders her husband out of the room. Jax leaves and Carly tells Jason that Jax knew about Claudia and Jerry. Jason picks up Josslyn and hands her to Carly.

Dante goes to the cabin and finds it in ruins. Johnny comes up behind him and makes accusations about Sonny killing Claudia. Dominic says there is no proof right now, but Johnny knows it and wonders if Claudia suffered and begged for her life. He says Sonny had blood on his shirt and Dominic offers to help him find out what happened to Claudia.

Michael comes downstairs and tells his father he just feels a weird calm. Sonny tells him killing someone is not right, but he thanks God he was in a position to save his mother. Sonny wants Michael to move on and have a normal life, but Michael wants to learn from him. Sonny wants him to be better than him, but Michael says there is no one better.

At the hospital elevators, Ethan and Nikolas snipe at each other and Luke tells Tracy the Spencers are headed for a nasty train wreck.

Carly holds her daughter and says her father made a really big mistake, as Jax watches from the hallway.

Jason comes home and is happy to find Sam there. He thanks her for taking Carly to the hospital and she tells him the cops want to question her. He says he didn’t leave anything at the cabin to implicate any of them. He declares, "Claudia is gone. It’s finally over.”

At the mysterious loft, a photo of Jason burying Claudia is thrown on the desk.

Next on General Hospital:

Olivia worries Dante is using Johnny.

Jason wonders if he did the right thing.

Carly can’t forgive Jax.

Carly please! Like you have never kept secrets from anyone! If he would have told you, you probably would have gone into pre labor! Unbelievable! Also, Elizabeth - break it off with Lucky. Get with Nic! You can't hide the guilt much longer...........

For once I have to agree with Jax. They should have went to the cops and fessed up. Michael would have gotten off on his own merits. Instead they teach him the mob way of doing things.
Yesterday's scenes of Claudia's death were very grusome. Her eyes open as she lay on the floor, and then they all acted like an animal was hit by a car. On second thought they would have had more empathy for an animal.
The baby looked to be about 2 months old, but it's a soap after all.

Jax knew about Jerry's involvement in Michael's shooting BEFORE Carly got pregnant. So that excuse doesn't hold a lot of water.

OK I read all your comments yesterday, as I always do, and as many of you said, this is a soap. It's our escape from reality. And if we wanted "love in the afternoon" we could watch old soaps on you tube. I watch GH because I'm never, or almost never bored by it. I'm often shocked but never or almost never disappointed.

One complaint that many of us have had regarding this show is how incompetent the PCPD is. I have a funny feeling this may change with the new Lucky, the new guy who interviewed Carly, Dante, and I would not be surprised if Dante talks Johnny into becoming an undercover agent. The dynamics between all of them would be really exciting. More deaths, I'm afraid, but, boy, phew, what excitement.

For now, though, we need a little comic relief. I wonder who will deliver it.

smurf18- i know thats right, carly acts like she can do no wrong but, dont dare let someone else make a mistake or keep something from her, the fight is on. i love that lulu was taking up for dante with her brothers she knows she likes him. tracy just gets on my nerves. i wish micheal wouldnt want the mob life or to be like sonny, i knew we were in trouble when he was 10 with his hair slicked back asking his dad about the biz. poor kid didnt stand a chance. maybe we will get lucky with morgan and he will be a cop like his older brother dante..

I agree with you smurf18 about Carly was keeping secrets from Jax before too, but still Jax is getting what he deserve. He knew all along about Michael's shooting he kept that secret for months from her and didn't tell her she do make a good point. Plus there is more secrets he keeping from her liked Dominic/Dante Olivia son is really Sonny and working with Dominic to try to send Sonny to jail how about that. Johnny have no reason to be upset, but didn't he and sister knew about Michael's shooting and didn't tell anyone from the beginning when it all started, but it's too late now. Maxie is blaming the wrong person for Claudia's murder it was Michael. Michael did the right thing first of all his stepmother the one had him shot and lost a year of his life, and then kidnap Carly and was trying to take her baby. Claudia has done a lot of dangerous things. Oh well no more of that witch I'm finally free, but it's not over then there's Olivia secret too I can't wait for that secret to come out too.

Once again everyone was sitting around discussing murder as if it was no bigger deal that which channel to watch on TV tonight. Someone needs to give these characters a copy of the ten commandments.

Maybe I should try the drinking game, and whenever a character says "It's OK!", "It's not your fault!" or "You did the right thing!" when referring to a murder, I will knock back a shot. Of course I am not likely to be conscious by the end of an episode.

I am glad someone witnessed Jason’s cover up. Sam is a good moll too. She lies for her man & keeps the fires warm until the mobster comes home. She gives him a kiss & some tips to evade the police. Jason will remain living in his vacuum world but something or someone wicked is coming his way. I am keeping a front seat to watch him crash n burn.

If Michael is so innocent why is Sonny covering up Claudia’s death, instructing Michael to clean up & burn a bloody shirt. Sonny’s “great” parenting skills for a mobster’s son are shining through. But all the burning of evidence & lying to the police is not going to help Michael in the long run.

I feel for Johnny's pain but his sudden family concern came too late. His inquiry into Claudia’s death will only bring him harm.

I usually disagree with Jax but he is right about the repercussions for the Claudia cover up. Carly accusing Jax about keeping secrets is a joke. Carly held her tongue on more than one occasion. Carly lied to the police without blinking an eye. Carly doesn’t deserve Jax; she is truly a mobster’s moll.

Cynic – just a little note re yesterday’s post about support for Claudia. I never, ever hid my feelings for Claudia (I loved her as a villain) or any other character regardless of the consequences. I know some posters do not say anything about a character because they get bashed by others. I don’t believe in that but I believe everyone has a right to post with respect. I always stated my reasons for why I didn’t like a character or what a character has done. But I do agree with you. There seems to be more support for Claudia now that the character is gone.
As for those posters who say they can’t stand all the negativity about the Soap: What is negative to you maybe constructive to others.

Hi kids!
Cynic-your post wins the prize! You cracked me up. I'll join you w/the shots, though.

Had a chance to read last fridays comments and WOW, really great ones!:
Magrat-kudos for a fabulous post on Sonny! That was a great read and happy I took the time to go back. Excellent writing. Sonny is a complex character and you did him right!

4myJylli-enjoyed your post too! Sonny's wild rampage at the party was a riot for me! I couldn't get over the dialogue, but what stands out to me too is "psychotic piece of trash!" Priceless! hee,hee,hee... CLaudias comebacks were equally as delicious! Robot-man!

BeanCounter-loved your Ginger bread man scrub post! Now I can't wait to get to the store and buy it! Too cute!

Poodles-your twins sound too precious! Can only imagine how adorable they must have looked dressed like their buddy, Jake! Very cute!

STarlett-excellent "hate-on" post for Jax! REally, really enjoyed it.

Ring-hope you are feeling better! Your appology post was really sweet.

Well, I had forgotten I missed it and glad we have the opportunity to catch up what we missed. GReat posting! I'll be back later to comment on todays' show....
