Sonny meets Karpov's shipment, Jason busts Carly on her little spy mission and Maxie gushes over Spinelli.

"You're dead Logan!" Lulu screams at the ghost playing Clair De Lune on the piano in Professor Segal's Manhattan apartment. She apologizes to him and his response is to pound on the piano keys like an angry toddler. Johnny returns from buying milk and finds her trembling. She tells him what happened and slowly gets a grip. Johnny tells her that her mind is messing with her but she's not going crazy. He warns that she could end up talking herself into losing her mind if she doesn't stop it. He reminds her that this old man is nuts, but he works hard at not allowing the same thing to happen to him.

Sal shows up at the door and thanks Johnny for covering for him with the cops. He says that he needs to lay low for a while and asks if they can watch Lourdes while he's gone. Johnny agrees and as soon as Sal leaves Lulu protests. Lourdes comes through the window beaming with the news. Johnny tells her that she should stay next door in her own place and they'll check in on her. "Is that what you want?" Lourdes asks. She asks him to check in on her before bed and Johnny agrees. After she's gone, Johnny assures Lulu that she'll be coming along with him. The second he goes into another room, she sees Logan again.

At The Metro Court Karpov is giving Carly a hard sell about going for a ride with him in his convertible. Carly reminds him that they don't know each other. He tells her about his childhood desire to build an empire and how much he admires her strength. She tells him that she's not skittish around gangsters because she learned that from her former husband, Sonny Corinthos. Then she turns to Marty and says that she and Mr. Karpov are going for a ride.

At Crimson Kate tells Sonny that she loves being in love with him, but it scares her. Sonny assures her that they will make it. She says that a night together will be heaven and he can't disagree. She asks what's so important about the coffee beans tonight? She catches herself in a jealous moment and retracts the question. Sonny tells her that he has no intention of living off of his famous wife and has a business to tend to. Kate understands and tells him that she'll be at home working on the wedding in that case.

As Jason and Spinelli continue their research on Karpov, Spinelli uncovers the death of a 2nd Karpov girlfriend. She "fell" off a balcony while in the midst of carnal pleasures, Spinelli says. He excitedly suggests that they go back into the field and stake out Karpov's warehouse. He gurgles on about the snacks they can bring and how hanging out together would be fun. Jason yells at him to stay in the office and Maxie shows up to defend him. As she bickers with Jason about being able to keep a secret, Marty shows up at the door to tell Jason about Carly's little ride with Karpov. Spinelli is promptly able to track the route of Karpov's car to a warehouse. Jason thanks him and declines Spinelli's offer to come along as back up.

Spinelli is dejected, but Maxie bolsters his ego by explaining all of his good qualities. She tells him that he is not subservient to Jason, in fact, Spinelli is far superior to him. Spinelli says that the manly man gets the girl and he is lacking on that front. Maxie assures him that there is nothing lacking about him at all and reminds him that he earned the love of Georgie who was the most wonderful female on the planet.

Jerry and Sam are verbally sparring on the waterfront. Jerry accuses Sam of being jealous of his relationship with her mother. He leaves her with something to think about when he says that the two of them struggle with the dark side and if the truth be told, they both prefer it there.

Back at the clinic, Matt catches Nadine trying to check a prescription that he gave a patient. As he starts to threaten her, Nik interrupts and Matt says he's about to get a restraining order on Nadine. He takes off and Nik warns Nadine to back off. He calls her a stalker and before Nadine can object, Lucky shows up, followed by Sam. As they talk about Jerry Jacks and his motives for hanging around the docks, Nadine slips out the door.

Karpov and Carly have arrived at one of his warehouses and she is curious why he brought her there. He asks her to imagine the walls papered with thousand dollar bills and the space filled with jewelry and sports cars. He says that he wants to do that for her in exchange for her womanly gratitude. Carly says that she loves her husband. Karpov apologizes if he offended her. She says that she barely knows him and he tells her to ask away. Carly asks what he deals in that makes Port Charles so important to him. He wanted a more personal line of questioning, and Carly covers by saying what a person buys reflects character. Karpov weasels his way into very close proximity with her but doesn't get far because he also finds himself looking down the barrel of Jason's handgun. Jason says that Karpov needs to stay away from anyone under his protection. "I remain charmed," Karpov says in Carly's general direction as he walks away.

Jason rips into Carly for being so reckless and Carly spits back. "I had to get close to Karpov so I could steal his PDA!"

Nadine is sneaking around the waterfront when Matt rushes up behind her and gives her a warning. "This is the last time you follow me!" he says with her firmly in his grasp.

Milo and Sonny are waiting on the docks for Karpov's shipment to come in. Sonny says that he has Karpov's word that he's not moving drugs, but he wants to make sure. Just then Karpov's lawyer arrives and tells Sonny that something came up and her client can't make it. Sonny tells her to remind her boss that he's willing to make things easier for him, but he has to stay away from Morgan. "You should be taking down the man who stole your empire," she tells him. Just then the first crate is brought to the dock and Sasha tries to keep Sonny from looking at it. Sonny insists and finds it full of bags of white powder.
