The Bold and the Beautiful - MESSAGE BOARDS

This just occurred to me, if you've been watching this show since its inception over 20 years ago, then you've out aged the demographics that soaps cater too! That includes me, too! I've grown up with these characters but am not totally hooked on this or any soap any longer and the powers that be are aware of the demographic (12-32) that gives them their viewership and sadly it ain't us anymore!
They are trying to attract younger viewers and placing the focus on the younger characters, hot new characters as well as the issues that young characters might face today. Budding relationships!
Man, is this revelation a let down!

Yep...from the writing, one can tell they are trying to attract younger viewers that weren't around 20 years ago when the show aired...they were probably born when the show came on...

ITA! they are totally rewriting history and trying inacurately reface some characters. I think that's why they are trying to stop episodes from being posted on you tube. If you go back I mean way back to the past episodes. Certain characters do not ocme out looking good. Instead of characters growing up and learning from thier mistakes they are rewriting it to make it look like it didn't or couldn't happen before. Bull IMO!
