Just a little tribute to the passing of a decent and honorable man who was also a politician. That is a very rare thing in these times.

Well said Lestress -- I always liked the Ford family and yes he was an honorable man! As an aside wasn't his one son in Y & R for a while??? I know he played Meg Ryan's boyfriend in When Harry Met Sally, but I'm thinking he was in Y & R also??

Yes, he was I can't remember the character's name though. He worked for Paul Williams' PI agency.

I don't know much about Ford as he was president for only the first year of my life.
I do think that he was more dignified than most of his successors, by keeping his mouth shut after he left office. Take a lesson Jimmy & Bill .

Yes one of his sons played Andy. Andy had a romance with Jill but she threw him over when John got interested in her. Then he later had a romance with Diane (the one who later mistakenly stole Jack's sperm). He had a third romance with a woman who had amnesia. She eventually regained her memory and reunited with her husband. I think that is when Andy left the show. He returned a few years ago to work with Paul but was hardly ever on and then just diappeared. I think his name is Jack Ford and I know for a while he was into horse racing.
