SueQ, It this the story of the woman who grew up in Germany, came to the US, met and married a cowboy who took her to Wyoming to homestead and raise a family? If so, I personally know this large and extended family. My first job at age 13 was cook's helper on one the Bayers ranches - 2.00 a day plus room and board. Whoops! I should have gone to the website first. Now I realize it is different material. The book I refer to is entitle "Wyoming Pioneer Woman, by Pauline Krueger Bayer", written and compiled by Maragaret Canfield Bayer. If you want a GREAT read, get a copy of this! Of course it is personal to me because I know the places, terraines and extended family members. |
